Greater Boston-area native Bernie Barbour, Indigo Ag’s Chief Technology Officer, has been building innovative tech platforms and solutions for nearly three decades.

Barbour has a long history of working at early-stage startups across a variety of industries, from healthcare to e-commerce to SaaS platforms. He brought his entrepreneurial spirit to Vistaprint and parent company Cimpress (CMPR), using technology innovations in a variety of roles, most importantly scaling development of the Cimpress Mass Customization Platform that supported the company’s growth from $650M to nearly $3 billion in revenue. “I love to see that growth. I’m a builder at heart and leveraging technology has always been an amazing way to support growth,” says Barbour.

Barbour is thrilled to bring this passion for growth to the agriculture industry. “On the surface, it doesn't look like agriculture has a lot of tech, but when you start to peel back the layers, there's a lot of tech that can be scaled,” Barbour says. “The opportunity to bring technology to a mission-driven organization like Indigo Ag and build a platform is exciting. I'm happy to get us going to that growth stage.”
