An energetic leader with two decades of experience leading high performing teams, Ophir leads the geospatial engineering group at Indigo, building a living map of the world’s food.

Prior to Indigo, Ophir was leading engineering at TellusLabs, using his experience building highly scalable, enterprise-ready network monitoring systems to architect Tellus’ unique global food monitoring system.

Before that, at NetApp Inc., Ophir was leading a large engineering organization in an initiative to modernize the core technology of the product. This effort, which he initiated and orchestrated, resulted in dramatic increases to product traction and sales. He later left NetApp to co-found his own company, ITculate Inc (sold to LogicMonitor), with the goal of helping companies monitor and optimize their highly-dynamic applications or micro-services in the cloud.

Ophir holds a BS in computer science from the Technion, Israel institute of Technology.

"I have been working for many years growing teams and developing technology. I love building great products that people use, but this is the first time that I feel what I do really matters to our future. That, and the challenge of efficiently processing such massive amounts of data, is what excites me about the opportunity at Indigo."
