    March 27, 2023

Agricultural leaders collaborate to drive farmer success through increased awareness and participation of Indigo sustainability solutions

    Boston, MA (March 27, 2023)
    — Indigo Ag, the premier sustainability partner of the agriculture industry, selected Landus, one of the largest grain companies in North America, to connect farmers to sustainability solutions that will benefit their fields and their balance sheets.

Through this relationship, Landus will be the preferred distributor for Indigo’s ongoing sustainability efforts, combining its agronomic expertise and strong relationships across the Ag retail space with farmers using Indigo’s innovative approach to science, technology, and agriculture. Together, they will drive engagement and participation across the complete supply chain, from farmer to consumer, utilizing Carbon by Indigo, Market+ Merchandise and sustainable crop solutions, the FieldFlex suite of products, and biotrinsic® products.

The relationship will leverage the broad reach of Landus Conduit, an integrated subsidiary that connects enterprising farmers, aligned agriculture and grain organizations with collaborators to streamline supply chain and access incremental value.

“The collective focus of Indigo and Landus is aligned around driving farmer and partner success,” said Ron Hovsepian, president and CEO of Indigo. “The depth, talent, and commitment Landus is known for, as well as their scale in grain and processing, expedites our ability to deliver on the promise of making the regenerative sustainability market a reality.”

Indigo’s Carbon, biotrinsic® and Market+ solutions are singularly focused on helping farmers unlock the potential of their soil and turn their sustainability practices on each field, every year of their rotation into profits. Indigo’s team of scientists are also delivering patented solutions that improve crop performance and increased pest, biotic and climate stress tolerance increasing yields and profits for farmers.

“We’re joining hands with the global industry leader in sustainability,” said Matt Carstens, president and CEO of Landus. “This expands our relationship with Indigo to enhance the tools and products available to increase farmer success. We know the downstream consumer is keenly interested in the story of their grain and as a preferred sustainability partner for Indigo, Landus can help trace that story with data and technology.”

The relationship will focus on both current and future solutions.

“This agreement will help farmers today through our current offerings, but also the farmer of tomorrow as Indigo will continue to leverage leading-edge technical capabilities in the microbial, digital, and sustainability arenas to create new products and services for our customers across the Ag supply chain,” said Hovsepian.
