Indigo Ag is thrilled to announce the appointment of David Nothmann to lead its Global Biologicals Business Unit; reporting to the CEO, he’ll oversee the product roadmap, commercial operations, and synergy with the company’s Sustainability Business Unit. With more than 25 years of experience in the food and agriculture industries, Nothmann has held leadership roles across start-ups and multinationals, ranging from B2B to B2C companies. At Indigo, he will focus on enabling farmers to improve profitability and soil health through innovative solutions which include Indigo's leading microbial portfolio and the CLIPS platform.
Nothmann has led commercialization strategies across North America, Europe, South America, and Asia, and brings unique expertise in customer-centric product development, strategic planning, and go-to-market execution. His leadership has led to major product launches and operational improvements, driving both top-line growth and cost savings. He has consistently delivered strong financial performance and accelerated market adoption of innovative technologies at companies including Unfold Bio, Terramera, Valent (a Sumitomo Chemical subsidiary), Battelle, Monsanto (now Bayer Crop Science), ArborGen, and most recently NoDL Advisors.

He also serves as an Executive Ambassador for Agriculture Future of America and was a founding member and former president of the Fulbright Academy of Science & Technology.
