About This Role
This role requires a dynamic, commercially driven leader ready to grow Indigo's biologicals business in North America. The ideal candidate is inspired by Indigo’s mission for sustainable agriculture and brings deep industry experience, strong retailer and national account relationships, and a strategic mindset to propel the business forward. The role reports into the Biologicals Business Unit Head and is member of the Biologicals Leadership team.
What You'll Do
Commercial Leadership and Strategy:

Lead the North American business for Indigo’s biologicals portfolio, including Sales, Marketing, Agronomy, and Commercial Operations functions

Own the P&L for all regional biological deliverables

Design and execute go-to-market strategies to accelerate growth and brand positioning

Build impactful marketing programs that differentiate Indigo’s offerings in a competitive landscape

Set growth targets and ensure alignment with the broader Biologicals BU and corporate strategy

Champion the use of CRM tools to drive data-driven decisions, pipeline visibility, and sales accountability

Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Product, and Sustainability Solutions to scale effectively
Growth Management:

Accelerate market expansion through disciplined sales planning and agile execution

Build and expand strategic partnerships with national and regional distributors and retailers

Strengthen Indigo’s footprint in both established and emerging markets

Lead white label commercialization initiatives with precision and adaptability
Team Leadership & Management:

Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of ~20 commercial professionals

Foster a results-oriented, collaborative culture with a strong bias for action

Empower the team to exceed sales goals while maintaining alignment with Indigo’s mission and values
What You'll Bring

10+ years in the agricultural input industry
-
Deep network and trusted relationships with national and regional retailers
-
Demonstrated ability to resourcefully design and scale sales and marketing programs in fast-paced environments

Strong track record in white label strategy, execution, and channel growth

Background in both large-scale corporate and smaller, entrepreneurial environments
-
Experience launching agricultural products with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally to optimize product introductions

Strong sales leadership and team management capabilities; effective in setting vision and delivering results

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and cross-functional collaboration skills
-
Master’s degree in business, agriculture, agronomy, or related field preferred

International experience a plus

Strong preference for candidates based in the Heartland
How We'll Take Care of You

Base salary of $215,000-$235,000 annually

Indigo is committed to competitive and equitable pay for all employees. The listed pay range for this role is a good faith estimate of the hiring range for this position. Compensation offered will be determined based on several factors including an individual’s experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
Benefits Statement
All regular, full-time, permanent employees who work 30 hours or more each week are eligible to enroll in Indigo’s benefits. Additionally, all full-time employees and some parttime employees are eligible for paid time off as outlined above. Based on their role, employees may also be eligible to receive long-term equity incentives and annual cash incentives.
