Reporting to the Senior Director, Commercial Biologicals, the Key Account Manager (KAM), Biologicals will focus on the development and account management of key agricultural input within the region. The KAM will be responsible for identifying appropriate channel partners, signing a partnership agreement, and the ongoing management of these accounts to foster a strong business relationship and increase sales.
This is a remote role open to candidates based in Minnesota or Wisconsin. The position requires up to 50% travel within the assigned territory.
What You'll Do

Engage with assigned accounts to identify and expand strategic partnerships

Develop deep relationships throughout the indirect channel network and become a trusted resource for all Indigo Biologicals offerings

Set and meet customer expectations for fast responses to all questions, according to SLAs

Assist channel partners in benefitting from additional services of Indigo’s business offerings as needed to grow revenue

Provide ongoing training and support for Indigo products sold through channel partnerships

Coordinate with internal Indigo teams to provide support and solutions to partners as needed

Effectively communicate market opportunities and obstacles to management team
What You'll Bring:

5 years of experience selling products and/or services to a wide breadth of ag retail organization sizes and structures

Bachelors degree or equivalent experience (in ag, agronomy or economics) preferred but not required

Demonstrated track record of high sales performance in the ag retail space

Experience negotiating contractual relationships and commercial terms with vendors and suppliers

Existing relationships and a strong book of business in the ag retail space is a plus

Technical experience and familiarity with CRM system (Salesforce)

Ability to travel 50% within the territory
How We'll Take Care of You

Base salary of $90,000 - $120,000 annually

Compensation offered will be determined based on several factors including an individual’s experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
Benefits Statement
All regular, full-time, permanent employees who work 30 hours or more each week are eligible to enroll in Indigo’s benefits. Additionally, all full-time employees and some parttime employees are eligible for paid time off as outlined above. Based on their role, employees may also be eligible to receive long-term equity incentives and annual cash incentives.
