Senior Finance Manager

Indigo is seeking a highly analytical and strategic Senior Finance Manager to help lead the company’s planning, forecasting, and performance management processes. This role will be instrumental in driving financial visibility, improving decision support, and partnering across the business to translate operational performance into actionable financial insights. The ideal candidate brings a strong foundation in finance or accounting, thrives in a dynamic environment, and is comfortable supporting both day-to-day reporting needs and longer-term strategic planning.

Reporting directly to the VP, Controller, the ideal candidate will have 8–10 years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis, corporate finance, or related finance/accounting roles. This individual should bring strong financial modeling, forecasting, and business partnering capabilities, along with the ability to synthesize complex information into clear recommendations for senior leadership. Experience in agriculture, sustainability, or other complex operating environments is a plus.

This position can be based anywhere in the continental United States, with strong preference for Central and Eastern time zones.

What You'll Do

  • Lead the annual budget, quarterly forecast, and long-range planning processes across business functions, ensuring alignment with company objectives

  • Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reporting packages, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and clear commentary for leadership

  • Develop and maintain robust financial models to support scenario planning, investment decisions, and strategic initiatives

  • Partner closely with business partners including Investor Relations and Corporate Development, to evaluate performance, identify risks and opportunities, and improve financial visibility across the organization

  • Analyze revenue, margin, operating expenses, and cash flow drivers to support better decision-making and resource allocation

  • Own KPI reporting and performance dashboards, helping translate financial and operational metrics into actionable insights

  • Support executive leadership with ad hoc analyses, board materials, and decision support for critical business initiatives

  • Partner with corporate and regional accounting and finance teams to monitor local accounting matters, operating results, and region-specific financial risks and opportunities

  • Provide financial oversight across regions by analyzing performance trends, supporting issue resolution, and helping ensure alignment between regional results and consolidated reporting

  • Identify and lead opportunities to enhance FP&A processes, systems, and reporting capabilities through technology enablement, including system integrations, automation, and AI-driven tools

  • Assist with strategic finance initiatives, including M&A and other Corporate Development activities

  • Develop and maintain detailed cash flow models and three-statement financial models to support forecasting, scenario analysis, and strategic decision-making

What You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or other advanced degree preferred

  • 8–10 years of progressive experience in FP&A, corporate finance, financial analysis, or related finance/accounting roles

  • Strong foundation in finance and accounting principles, with the ability to connect operational performance to financial outcomes

  • Advanced financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis skills

  • Experience preparing management reporting, executive presentations, and decision-support analyses for senior leaders

  • Demonstrated ability to partner cross-functionally with leaders across finance and non-finance teams

  • Strong Excel skills required; experience with ERP systems, planning tools, and reporting platforms such as NetSuite, Oracle, Adaptive, Anaplan, Power BI, or similar tools preferred

  • CPA, CFA, or CMA is a plus, but not required

  • Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities

  • Strong proficiency in three-statement financial modeling, integrated forecasting, and cash flow modeling is required

  • Experience and interest in agriculture, agribusiness, climate technology, sustainability, or other complex/high-growth environments is preferred

How We'll Take Care of You

  • Base salary of $145,000 - $165,000 annually

  • Equity options & annual cash incentives

Pay Transparency Statement

Indigo is committed to competitive and equitable pay for all employees. The listed pay range for this role is a good faith estimate of the hiring range for this position. Compensation offered will be determined based on several factors including an individual’s experience, qualifications, and geographic location.

Benefits Statement

All regular, full-time, permanent employees who work 30 hours or more each week are eligible to enroll in Indigo’s benefits. Additionally, all full-time employees and some parttime employees are eligible for paid time off as outlined above. Based on their role, employees may also be eligible to receive long-term equity incentives and annual cash incentives.
