We’re excited to add a Product Management MBA Intern to our team! As a Product Management Intern reporting to the Head of Product, you will support the Biologicals Business Unit. This internship will work to provide actionable insights into market dynamics, competitive positioning, and product strategy over the course of the three months. This role also has the unique and exciting opportunity to support due diligence on new investment opportunities for Biologicals.

This is a remote, 12-week, full-time role (40 hours per week) from June 2, 2025 through August 22, 2025. The pay range for this internship is $6-8K/month.

What You'll Do

  • Market Segmentation & Modeling: Develop and refine market models that estimate the size, growth potential, and key drivers of the biological products market. Help identify distinct customer segments and regions that offer the most promise for product growth and expansion, based on the research findings.

  • Market & Competitive Research: Conduct thorough primary and secondary research to understand customer needs, market opportunities, and the competitive landscape in the biological products sector. This includes gathering insights from existing reports, interviews, and surveys to build a comprehensive view of market trends and dynamics.

  • Competitive Benchmarking: Perform in-depth competitor analysis by examining product offerings, strategies, and positioning in the biological product space. Provide insights into competitors’ strengths, weaknesses, and market approaches to help guide Indigo’s product and strategic positioning. Build a competitive landscaping database based on findings.

  • Product Positioning & Strategic Insights: Synthesize research and data to assess how Indigo’s biological products are currently positioned relative to competitors. Provide actionable recommendations to strengthen product differentiation and refine market strategies to maximize competitive advantage.

  • Innovation Investments: Support due diligence to determine deployment of capital in new innovation areas to drive growth for the Biologicals Business.

  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams across product management, marketing, and sales, and R&D to share insights, present findings, and support key strategic initiatives. Collaborate to ensure the research outcomes are integrated into ongoing projects and decision-making processes.

What You'll Bring

  • Currently pursuing an MBA degree focused on Product Management, Strategy, or Innovation

  • 2+ years prior work experience in product, consulting, or tech. Background in the life sciences is a plus.

  • Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to distill complex data into clear and actionable insights

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey findings effectively

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment and manage multiple priorities
