Climate Week NYC is a key milestone in global efforts to shape the trajectory and success of sustainability initiatives. As agriculture is more and more recognized as a key part of the climate solution, Indigo Ag is thrilled to be participating in this year’s Climate Week NYC on September 17 to 24. Our science and policy experts will be speaking on several panels and attending a multitude of events with World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD), World Economic Forum (WEF), Sustainable Markets Initiative (SMI), VCI, Natural Climate Solutions Alliance (NCSA), Voluntary Carbon Markets Integrity (VCMI), and International Emissions Trading Association (IETA).

Some of these events include:

  • Monday, 9/18 - NCSA Panel: “Lifting the Lid: How High-Quality, Nature-Based Carbon Credits Are Made” with Meredith Reisfield, Director, Sustainability Policy and Strategic Partnerships
  • Tuesday, 9/19 - IETA NACS panel “Deep Dive: Natural Climate Solutions (NCS) Leadership Circle: Carbon Market Opportunities for Forestry & Agriculture” moderated by Max DuBuission, VP, Head of Sustainability Policy and Engagement
  • Wednesday, 9/20 - WBCSD panel “Building Carbon Removal Portfolios into Corporate Climate Strategies” with Roman Tarnovsky, VP, Global Head of Sustainability Markets and Internationalization
