Elizabeth leads the Market Development team at Indigo, building partnerships with consumer facing brands in the food and apparel industries. She leverages experience as both a business development executive and private equity investor in the energy, agriculture, and health and wellness industries to structure commercial relationships that create value, driven by consumer demand for a healthy, transparent, and sustainable agricultural system.

Most recently, Elizabeth was VP of Business Development at Farmers Business Network, a venture-backed agtech company building data driven analytical tools to provide farmers with agronomic insights and input pricing transparency. Previously, Elizabeth was the Chief Commercial Officer of Proterro, developing algae-based products for partners in the food, animal feed, and energy industries. Prior to this, Elizabeth was CEO of Vayas Health, creating customized content to help patients manage chronic illness, with particular emphasis on food and nutrition. As a private equity investor with GE Capital and Ziff Brothers Investments, Elizabeth structured investments in growth stage companies and infrastructure assets across the energy and agriculture sectors, including the Brazilian sugarcane and ethanol industry. Early in her career, Elizabeth worked for the Environmental Defense Fund, partnering with market leading consumer product companies to design environmental initiatives resulting in business benefits.

Elizabeth holds a B.S. in Environmental Science from the University of California, Berkeley, an M.B.A. and M.S. in Environmental Science from the University of Michigan, and studied international policy, economics and law at the University of Oxford, UK.
