Chris Moscardini comes to Indigo with an extensive track record in software development at scale.
Most recently, he served as VP of Engineering at Brightcove, the leading cloud-based video platform for marketers, broadcasters, and enterprises. Over the course of his seven years at Brightcove, Chris was at the forefront of Brightcove’s transformation from a web based application to an entire software platform. Chris also oversaw the development of Brightcove’s first add on application, Gallery, which became the basis for the entire Video Marketing Suite. Before that, Chis had several hands-on roles focused on quality engineering, product ownership, and mobile development.
Before Brightcove, Chris worked at EBSCO Publishing, where he headed up numerous projects, implemented agile processes, and collaborated closely with the executive team in strategy development and resource management. Prior to his time at EBSCO, Chris was Development and QA Manager at Groove Mobile, later acquired by Livewire Mobile. He has also held senior-level manager and engineering positions at SaveJe, Ruckus, and ATG (now Oracle).
Chris earned a BS in Computer Engineering from Tufts University. He currently lives on the North Shore of Massachusetts.
“I’m a strong believer that true innovation occurs when technology intersects with a compelling need. On this entire planet, there is no need greater than that of feeding an ever-increasing population. As a technologist, it’s amazing and hugely fulfilling to have the opportunity to combine software, big data, and machine learning to change the way we sustainably grow crops and help feed the planet.”
