Read the Report

June 30, 2020. Indigo is releasing its first area planted estimate of the season, focusing on five Southern and Southeastern producers in the United States: Texas, Arkansas, Mississippi, Tennessee, and Louisiana. These areas have seen a combined planting of 5.3M acres of corn and 8.9M acres of soybeans.

Throughout the course of the season, as more data can be gathered from emerging crops, Indigo will release area planted estimates for the 13 U.S. states that make up the remaining 18 highest producing areas in the country. County-by county production estimates will then be offered through Atlas’ proprietary yield forecasting model.
